Bitcoin miner Bit Digital acquires 53.2 million USD facility as AI, HPC push continues

Bit Digital, the Bitcoin mining company, has purchased an industrial facility in Madison, North Carolina for 53.2 million USD. This acquisition is part of its strategy to diversify into artificial intelligence and high-performance computing.

In addition to this facility, Bit Digital is upgrading a Tier 3 data center in Quebec with 40 million USD allocated to meet stringent operational standards, aiming to create new revenue streams amidst volatile Bitcoin prices.
