JPMorgan reported that in August, Bitcoin’s hashrate reached an all-time high of 949 EH/s, indicating increased miner competition and affecting mining difficulty.
Despite reaching this peak, average earnings per EH/s for miners saw a 4% decrease, estimated at 55,100 USD. The market cap for U.S. Bitcoin miners rose by 23% to about 7.4 billion USD, with TeraWulf posting an impressive 83% increase.
