The correlation between Bitcoin ownership and economic development is strong, with wealthier regions leading in adoption. Currently, Bitcoin has only reached about 3% of its potential market.

Key barriers to Bitcoin adoption include financial literacy and price volatility. Stablecoins are gaining traction as alternatives for transactions, especially in developing areas.
