Bitcoin’s hashrate brushes all-time high as miners close in on June peak

As of July 27, Bitcoin’s hashrate stood at 945 EH/s, just shy of its June 13 peak of 946 EH/s. This increase is attributed to better mining profits in the preceding month. Hashprices rose from about 54 USD per PH/s at the end of June to a peak of 64 USD by early July.

Foundry leads the mining sector with 247 EH/s, followed by Antpool at 183 EH/s, and ViaBTC. Notably, a solo miner recently mined a block using a hashrate of only 48.3 TH/s, showcasing the competitive nature of mining in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
