BlackRock draws 3 billion USD in digital asset inflows in Q1, AUM reaches 11.6 trillion USD

In the first quarter of 2025, BlackRock attracted 3 billion USD into its digital asset products, making up 2.8% of all total ETF inflows. Despite this growth, the digital asset market faced depreciation exceeding 8 billion USD.

BlackRock’s total assets under management (AUM) reached 11.6 trillion USD by the end of Q1 2025. The digital asset AUM significantly increased to over 50 billion USD, marking a 187% year-over-year growth, reflecting a strong trend among investors.

The iShares Bitcoin Trust, BlackRock’s primary crypto ETF, has a competitive fee of 0.25% after waivers. The trust is designed to appeal to investors despite the current market volatility affecting overall returns.
