BlockFi bankruptcy administrator and DOJ agree to dismiss 35 million USD lawsuit

BlockFi and the DOJ settled a 35 million USD lawsuit concerning the transfer of crypto assets linked to a criminal case. Judge Michael B. Kaplan approved the dismissal, confirming the case cannot be refiled, with BlockFi focusing on its ongoing bankruptcy proceedings.

Since declaring bankruptcy in November 2022, BlockFi has been managing its assets, allowing clients to withdraw funds via Coinbase. The company continues to face significant legal and financial challenges while navigating complex bankruptcy processes.
