BlockSec reports loss of approximately 90,000 USD due to TransferFrom vulnerability on Base chain

On September 14th, BlockSec Phalcon reported a loss of approximately 90,000 USD on the Base chain due to a “transferFrom” vulnerability.

The loss was caused by insufficient access control, which allowed arbitrary low-level calls.

BlockSec Phalcon recommended revoking all approvals for the affected contract.
