Bolivia’s ASFI has extended the application deadline to April 30, 2026, for fintech companies, including cryptocurrency exchanges, pushing the original date of December 31, 2025.
By November 2025, only 11 companies submitted intent letters for licensing, and none have yet participated in the Controlled Testing Environment, leading to regulatory consequences for late applicants.
