Brazilian lawmaker introduces bill to regulate Bitcoin salaries

The bill introduced by Federal deputy Luiz Philippe de Orleans e Bragança requires that companies pay at least 50% of salaries in Brazilian real and prohibits full cryptocurrency salary payments, except for expatriates.

Employers must ensure that the payment in Bitcoin does not exceed 50% of the total salary payout, promoting a balance between traditional currency and cryptocurrencies.
