After experiencing a 1.4 billion USD hack, Bybit initiated a comprehensive security upgrade involving rigorous audits and improved wallet safeguards. The exchange completed nine audits within a month, leading to the establishment of 50 new security measures.
Bybit tightened its cold wallet protocols and adopted multiparty computation to enhance security. Additionally, they have secured ISO/IEC 27001 certification for information security management.
Despite the hack, Bybit’s liquidity is nearly back to pre-hack levels, aided by their LazarusBounty initiative. Recent evaluations show BTC market depth rebounding while altcoins are recovering at a slower pace.
