Beginning March 23, 2026, Bybit will implement a phased termination of its services for Japanese users, transitioning accounts to “close-only” mode. This change allows only BTC, ETH, and USDC swaps during the transition period.
By July 22, 2026, all open positions will be forcibly closed. This action is part of Bybit’s compliance with new, stricter regulations set forth by Japan’s Financial Services Agency.
