Canaan and Aurora AZ Energy have initiated a 2.5 megawatt Bitcoin mining farm in Calgary, Alberta, utilizing stranded natural gas and deploying 700 Avalon A15 Pro processors.
The project aims for approximately 90% uptime and lower electricity costs. Canaan’s computing power reached 9.3 EH/s, aiming to replicate this model in regions with associated gas.
