Cash App will start supporting stablecoin transactions in early 2026, enabling sending and receiving functionalities.
Stablecoins deposited in the app will be automatically converted to 1.00 USD, and when USD is moved to the blockchain, it will convert back to stablecoins.
Users can scan QR codes to pay merchants in Bitcoin without needing to hold it, amidst a focus on blockchain neutrality by Block.
