Cboe files to auto-list crypto ETFs without case-by-case SEC approval

Cboe BZX Exchange has filed to allow automatic listing of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs without requiring separate SEC approvals for each. This aims to simplify the approval process by removing rules that apply to each case individually.

James Seyffart from Bloomberg highlighted this proposal as a major advancement for digital asset ETFs. It may lead to standardized criteria for listing, promoting easier access for institutional investors to crypto.
