CFTC appoints crypto executives to digital asset group, JPMorgan executive selected as co-chair

The CFTC has added executives from Uniswap, Aptos, BNY Mellon, and Chainlink Labs to its digital asset markets subcommittee. Scott Lucas of JPMorgan will co-chair alongside Sandy Kaul from Franklin Templeton

DAMS will guide the CFTC in developing regulations for digital assets and fostering a bridge between traditional finance and decentralized systems. Acting Chair Caroline D. Pham emphasizes a collaborative approach to ensure effective market frameworks.
