China accuses US of stealing 127,000 Bitcoin from LuBian mining pool during 2020 cyber attack

China claims the US government was responsible for stealing 127,000 Bitcoin from the LuBian mining pool during a cyber attack in 2020. This act is said to have been executed by a state-level hacking group tied to US operations.

The Bitcoin stolen is now worth more than 13 billion USD, a significant rise from its approximate 127 million USD valuation in 2020. Blockchain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence has suggested links between the hack and subsequent asset movements.
