Chinese Electric Vehicle Company Establishes 100 Billion Charging Station Company, Aiming to Build at Least 30,000 Charging Stations in Vietnam

TMT Automobile Joint Stock Company has established TMT Electric Charging Station Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company with a charter capital of 100 billion VND, where TMT holds 98% of the capital. It plans to invest in building 30,000 charging stations, equating to 60,000 charging guns, by August 2025, adhering to European standards (CCS2), with each station having a capacity of at least 7kW. TMT also plans to produce and assemble electric motorcycles and three-wheeled electric vehicles. Despite recording a record loss of 325 billion VND in 2024, TMT aims to sell 8,075 vehicles in 2025, a 152% increase. The company continues to collaborate with SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile for electric vehicle distribution in Vietnam and has signed a contract with Forland for dump truck production.
