Coinbase reports 12,716 enforcement requests in 2025, marking a 19% yearly increase

Coinbase’s 2025 report indicates it received enforcement requests from over 60 countries, predominantly from the U.S., Germany, U.K., France, Spain, and Australia. While there was a yearly increase, the total requests have remained stable between 10,000 to 13,000 over the last four years.

Notably, requests from outside the U.S. Increased to 53% in 2025, reflecting a 2% rise. The company must comply with legitimate legal inquiries as mandated by the law, maintaining adherence amid the growth in enforcement activities.
