Compared to Hòa Phát, BAF, Dabaco’s Chairman says: No one can raise pigs at a cost of 42,000 VND if all costs are calculated

Mr. Nguyễn Như So, Chairman of Dabaco, stated that pig prices during Tết are expected to range from 65,000 to 70,000 VND/kg due to a shortage of about 5 million pigs. Dabaco targets pig prices at 54,000 to 55,000 VND/kg by 2026, with prices unlikely to drop below 50,000 VND/kg. According to Ms. Lê Thụy Tường Vy from VDSC, the number of pigs culled due to ASF reached 1.23 million, together with floods causing a 6% reduction in the breeding sows compared to last year. Dabaco claims its actual production cost is higher than other companies, ranging from 47,600 to 48,000 VND/kg, emphasizing that no one can raise pigs at 42,000 to 43,000 VND/kg when all costs are properly accounted for. Dabaco maintains good technical indicators, with a feed conversion ratio (FCR) of 2.28. The company plans to expand its breeding stock and launch several new farms and plants in 2026. In real estate, Dabaco is investing 2,700 billion VND in the Lý Thái Tổ project and 1,875 billion VND in the Vạn An project. In the first 9 months, the company achieved revenue of 12,271 billion VND and a net profit of 1,358 billion VND, exceeding 134.9% of its profit target.
