Coti co-founder: CBDCs will disrupt stablecoins, not Bitcoin

COTI co-founder Shahaf Bar-Geffen believes that CBDCs will significantly disrupt stablecoins rather than Bitcoin (BTC). He notes that the controversy around CBDCs will ease as financial institutions integrate this technology.

Bar-Geffen highlights the necessity of privacy in CBDC implementation, referencing COTI’s collaboration with the Bank of Israel to ensure user data protection during the rollout of digital currencies.

He anticipates that in five years, CBDCs could be widely utilized in various parts of the world, depending on the effectiveness of current initiatives by companies like COTI.
