Crypto.com sues Nevada gaming body over block on sports event contracts

Crypto.com has filed a lawsuit against the Nevada Gaming Control Board, claiming the board lacks authority to regulate its sports event contracts and that federal law grants exclusive jurisdiction to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

The cryptocurrency exchange is requesting a permanent injunction that would stop Nevada from enforcing its gaming laws, as it argues compliance would cause irreparable harm to its business.
