Chairman of HAGL, Ba Duc, announced positive business results in the first half of 2025, achieving over 60% of the annual plan. Currently, durian prices are at a record low, around 25,000-27,000 VND/kg, but HAGL is confident to raise the profit plan to 1.5 trillion VND thanks to stable revenue from bananas. The company has planted 2,000 hectares of durians, and between August and November, will begin harvesting, promising good revenue from this product. It is projected that HAGL may recognize an extraordinary income of 1 trillion VND in Q3 and total after-tax profit for 2025 could reach 2.5 trillion VND. HAGL also plans to invest in an additional 2,000 hectares of tea coffee and mulberry, aiming for product diversification and sustainable development.
