Keonne Rodriguez, the developer of Samourai Wallet, was sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy charges related to running an unlicensed money transmission service.
The Samourai Wallet allowed users to obscure Bitcoin transactions by mixing them with others, contributing to a shutdown by U.S. Authorities last year for alleged criminal use.
