Dozens of major companies terminate contracts with an industrial park: What’s about to happen?

The Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, home to many large enterprises like Bien Hoa Packaging Joint Stock Company (Sovi) and Bibica, is undergoing relocation following a land recovery notice from the Bien Hoa City People’s Committee for redevelopment into an urban and service area. SVI and Bibica have confirmed plans to move, with SVI relocating to Lộc An – Bình Sơn and Bibica dismantling facilities to return the land. Several other companies are also ending contracts for land rental and infrastructure services, as per directives from the People’s Committee and the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee. Sonadezi Corporation has instructed companies to finalize lease termination procedures by July 15, 2025, and relocate by August 1, 2025. This decision is part of the necessary transition of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, viewed as an essential measure to improve environmental pollution and enhance urban planning.
