Earnings of nearly 1 billion per day from selling dumplings

The Saigon Agricultural Products Export Food Joint Stock Company (Agrex) reported record revenue of 1,790 billion VND in 2024, an increase of 70.9% compared to the previous year and achieving 177% of the planned target. Its after-tax profit reached 345 billion VND, equivalent to nearly 1 billion VND per day. Agrex is among the top food export companies with the highest profits on the stock exchange, with an EPS of 31,900 VND, up 153.72% from 2023. Established in 1976, the company specializes in processing and exporting products like dumplings and spring rolls. In 2025, Agrex aims for a revenue target of 1,727 billion VND, but forecasts a profit decrease to 246 billion VND. The company plans to maintain growth by retaining current customers and expanding into new markets, and upgrading infrastructure to enhance production efficiency. In the trading session on April 3, 2025, AGX shares rose to a ceiling price of 149,700 VND/unit, with a P/E ratio of about 5.5 times.
