World Liberty Financial initiated an emergency burn of 166.667 million WLFI tokens valued at 22.14 million USD, reallocating the funds to secure recovery addresses following phishing attacks on users’ wallets.
Users who have not completed KYC have their wallets frozen but can initiate recovery processes through the WLFI help center. The emergency mechanism in WLFI’s smart contract is designed for such security instances.
