Since July 2025, Ethereum validators have decreased by about 10%, recently falling below 1 million for the first time since April 2024. This marks a significant trend following the network’s transition to Proof-of-Stake in September 2022.
Validator exit queues are at an all-time high, requiring approximately 37 days for unstaking ETH. Additionally, about 1.2 million ETH is currently awaiting staking with an average waiting time of 22 days.
