Ethereum Foundation Proposes a Layer for interoperability to enhance L2 user experience

The Ethereum Foundation’s Account Abstraction team has proposed an Ethereum Interoperability Layer (EIL) solution aimed at unifying Layer 2 networks.

EIL adheres to the ERC-4337 standard and allows cross-chain transactions with just one signature, streamlining user operations.

By managing inter-chain routing and asset delivery automatically, wallets can directly initiate and settle Layer 2 transactions without reliance on relayers.
