Ethereum mainnet gas fees drop to 0.02 USD, lower than some layer 2 networks

On December 2nd, on-chain analyst Yu Jin reported that Ethereum mainnet gas fees have significantly decreased to 0.1 Gwei, with a transaction now costing just 0.02 USD. This is a drastic improvement compared to prior fees, which often reached hundreds of dollars.
