On December 31, 2025, the 7-day moving average of Ethereum transactions peaked at 1.87 million, breaking the previous record set in May 2021.
The Ethereum network also noted a significant rise in active addresses, totaling 728,904 by year-end and 270,160 new addresses added in a single day.
