Ethereum yield drops below 3% – Is ETH losing the battle for on-chain returns?

Ethereum’s staking yield dipped to 2.987% as more ETH becomes staked, with 34.9 million ETH representing 29% of the circulating supply currently staked. Despite this, top DeFi lending platforms offer competitive rewards, drawing users away from ETH staking.

ETH’s price continues to hold steady between 2,400 USD and 2,800 USD amidst market fluctuations. However, alternative chains like Solana and Polkadot offer higher staking rewards, challenging Ethereum’s attractiveness in this sector.
