Etherscan reports industrialization of Ethereum address poisoning following cost reductions after the Fusaka upgrade

Etherscan has drawn attention to the alarming rise of Ethereum address poisoning as an industry issue, emphasizing the impact post-Fusaka upgrade.

From July 2022 to June 2024, historical data shows approximately 17 million attempts resulting in over 79.3 million USD in losses, with attacks using automated lookalike addresses.
