Many export companies like Sao Ta and Vinh Hoan are struggling due to tariffs. Sao Ta recorded revenue of nearly 2,983 billion VND, up 5%, but faced numerous tax liabilities. Vinh Hoan achieved revenues of over 3,470 billion VND, up 5.8%, and net profit reached 455 billion VND, but faced difficulties in catfish exports to the US with revenues decreasing by nearly 8%. Notably, Nam Kim Steel and Thanh Cong Garment also experienced revenue pressure. Conversely, Vinatex and May Song Hong reported strong profit growth, with Vinatex showing a 56% profit increase in Q3, reaching 359.3 billion VND. Despite a potentially divided outlook in Q4, with many businesses experiencing unstable orders, the textile sector may continue to explore new markets. However, the seafood industry anticipates significant challenges from anti-dumping tariffs in the US.
