According to CME’s FedWatch, there’s an 85.1% probability of the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged in January, alongside a 14.9% chance for a 25 basis point cut.
Looking ahead to March, there’s a 51.2% probability of a cumulative cut of 25 basis points, while maintaining current rates is at 42.8%, and a 5.9% chance of a total cut of 50 basis points.
