Federal Reserve set to likely decrease interest rates by 25 basis points in October

According to CME’s Fed Watch, there is a strong expectation, at 99%, that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates by 25 basis points in October. Additionally, a cumulative rate cut of 50 basis points by December is forecasted at 94%, while the chance for a 75 basis point cut stands at 6%.
