Fed’s Bostic expresses caution against additional rate cuts

Atlanta Fed President Raphael Bostic emphasizes the ongoing inflation issues as a reason to avoid additional rate cuts in October or December, despite a shift in economic risks toward employment.

Bostic had initially planned only one interest rate cut for 2025, which has already taken place. He acknowledges that his confidence in future rate decisions is weak.
