On October 28th, CCTV News reported that Beijing police arrested 15 individuals suspected of running eight counterfeiting operations after discovering unusual transactions involving counterfeit currencies.
The arrested individuals, most of whom were born after 2000, utilized printers for producing counterfeit bills and engaged in selling these through virtual currency, mentoring others in the process.
