At FLC Group’s Extraordinary General Meeting, CEO Bui Hai Huyen stated that taking back control of Bamboo Airways is not easy. This decision was made after careful consideration and compliance with legal regulations, following a proposal from Le Thai Sam, Chairman of Bamboo Airways. Huyen emphasized that resuming ownership amid FLC’s comprehensive restructuring poses significant challenges; however, it will not disrupt this process. FLC is committed to ensuring safety and sustainability, establishing an independent management model for Bamboo Airways to optimize resources. They are also seeking partners for cooperation in aviation, aiming to raise funds and provide technical support. The plan for Bamboo Airways’ development from 2025 to 2030 will be reported to the government and presented at the general meeting in 2026. Le Thai Sam acknowledged that the previous restructuring did not meet expectations, and FLC’s resumption will be crucial for the airline’s future.
