The Vietnamese stock market is experiencing a strong period, with the VN-Index rising nearly 390 points (+30%), reaching 1,654 points, and a total market capitalization of nearly 9 trillion VND. Notably, there are 23 stocks with a market capitalization over 100 trillion VND, of which the banking sector has 10 representatives, including Vietcombank, BIDV, and others, leading in terms of quantity and proportion. The banking industry is attracting attention with many appealing topics such as credit room and reserve ratios. Banks are also leading trends in IPOs for member securities companies. Moreover, interest in blockchain and digital assets is growing, with some banks like MB and Techcombank signing cooperation agreements to develop digital asset solutions, indicating investment potential in this area in Vietnam.
