Former Thodex CEO dies in prison after receiving an unprecedented sentence of 11,196 years

Faruk Fatih Ozer, former CEO of the now-defunct cryptocurrency exchange Thodex, died in prison while serving a sentence of 11,196 years for fraud.

Authorities are investigating Ozer’s death as a possible suicide, adding a layer of complexity to the already controversial collapse of Thodex.
