Mr. Cô Gia Thọ, the founder and Chairman of Thiên Long Group (TLG), shared his nearly 50-year entrepreneurial journey starting at the age of 17. As the eldest of 10 siblings, he decided to support his family by selling pens from his worn-out bicycle, gradually building TLG from scratch. By 1982, TLG had become a rare local pen manufacturer in Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Thọ capitalized on local government support to transition TLG into production. By 1996, TLG established a factory in Tân Tạo Industrial Park, evolving into a professional enterprise.
Today, TLG is valued at over 4.2 trillion VND, aiming to rank among the top five companies in the Southeast Asian stationery market. The company has successfully expanded its exports, contributing over 20% to its revenue, with expectations of reaching a billion VND in export revenue by 2024.
