On March 27, 2025, FPT officially inaugurated its R&D center for high technology and semiconductor chips in Da Nang, covering an area of 3,000 m2, marking a significant advancement in collaboration with Da Nang’s Department of Science and Technology. The center aims to gather 500 technology experts by 2025 and is projected to produce 10 new products annually under the “Made by FPT” brand. FPT’s CEO, Nguyen Van Khoa, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting Da Nang in becoming a high-tech innovation hub. FPT has made substantial contributions to the city’s budget and technological development, creating numerous practical solutions. Beyond semiconductor development, FPT is expanding into advanced packaging and testing fields. The ultimate goal is to establish Da Nang as Vietnam’s ‘Silicon Bay’.
