From Teaming Up to Competing in the 35-Trillion Contract, Vinaconex Again Faces Coteccons in a New 4-Trillion Contract at Long Thanh Airport

The Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) has organized an online bidding process for Package No. 7.8, related to the construction of a cargo terminal at Long Thanh Airport, valued at 4.120 trillion VND and lasting for 16 months. Three consortiums are participating: CTD consortium offered the lowest bid of 3.844 trillion VND but has the longest execution time, while Thang Long Consortium (Vinaconex) proposed 3.984 trillion VND with a quicker timeline. These contractors previously competed for a 35 trillion VND contract at Long Thanh Airport, where Vinaconex ultimately partnered with Hancorp to win the bid. Vinaconex and Coteccons continue to compete in this new tender.
