FuriosaAI has formed a partnership with LG AI Research to provide RNGD chips, enhancing AI models. The CEO highlighted the chips’ superior performance while announcing the rejection of Meta’s acquisition offer due to strategic differences.
The partnership will lead to the production of RNGD-powered servers for sectors such as finance and electronics. FuriosaAI is also negotiating a funding round of approximately 48 million USD to expand its client base globally.
