Gas prices down, but anxiety up: Decoding the mixed signals of America’s economic health

Gas prices have reached a low of 3.03 USD per gallon, the lowest for March since 2021. In contrast to the official CPI at 3%, the Truflation index presents a lower inflation rate of 1.35%, indicating potential economic resilience.
