Gold prices soar to nearly 100 million but many stocks rise even stronger

Gold prices are currently surging, surpassing $3,000/ounce in the international market and nearly 100 million VND per tael domestically, increasing about 17% since the beginning of the year. However, many stocks on the stock exchange have recorded even greater increases, especially with notable stocks from the Vingroup group (VIC, VHM) and some financial stocks like SHB, VND, VCI. While the VN-Index has only increased about 5% since the beginning of the year, many individual stocks have risen by tens of percent or even more. Investors need to be aware that investment performance depends on stock selection and timing, as not all stocks increase in tandem with gold. Many experts point out that successful short-term trading is not easy, noting that most trading activity on the stock market results in losses. Therefore, many investors should consider a longer-term approach instead of pursuing short-term trading.
