Gold Prices Soar to Nearly One Hundred Million but Stocks Have Increased Even More

Gold prices have reached historic highs, exceeding $3,000/ounce globally and over 98 million VND/tael domestically, marking a 17% increase since the beginning of the year. However, many stocks on the stock exchange have seen even higher increases, such as the Vingroup group (VIC, VHM) and GELEX (GEX, GEE). Although the VN-Index has only risen by 5%, some stocks have surged by tens of percent, offering substantial returns to investors. The selection of stocks is crucial, as many have decreased since the start of the year. Additionally, while stock trading can yield profits, it comes with risks, evidenced by 95% of trades resulting in losses. Thus, investing long-term and selecting robust stocks like FPT and REE may be a smarter strategy. The long-term outlook for the stock market remains positive due to a stable economy and growth-supporting factors.
