Government Inspectorate Inspects Usilk City Project After 17 Years of Stagnation

The Government Inspectorate has launched an inspection plan for slow-progress projects, including Usilk City, once highly anticipated in Hanoi. Launched in 2008 with 13 towers and 2,800 apartments, the project has faced many difficulties and completed only 3 towers by 2016, without passing fire safety inspections. Hundreds of customers participated in financial management to expedite housing delivery. Recently, some investors like Hai Phat and BIDGroup took over parts of the project hoping to revive it. However, residents still have not received their homes.
