HAGL of Bầu Đức Officially Erases Accumulated Losses

The Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company (HAGL) has just announced its financial report for the second quarter of 2025, achieving net revenue of 2.329 trillion VND, an increase of 50% compared to the same period last year. Net profit after tax reached 483 billion VND, a rise of 86%. In the first six months of 2025, HAGL reported total revenue of 3.709 trillion VND and net profit after tax of 824 billion VND, marking the first time since Q4 2020 that the company no longer faces accumulated losses. Previously, HAGL encountered significant financial hardships, but, thanks to stable banana prices and projected revenue from durian in the latter part of the year, Bầu Đức forecasts net profit after tax will be adjusted to 1.5 trillion VND, potentially reaching 2.5 trillion VND with the allowance for extraordinary income. The company’s Board of Directors is reviewing plans to increase projected profits to align with future growth potential.
