Halico recently announced its Q2 2025 financial results, reporting a revenue of 28.5 billion VND, a 26.6% increase compared to the same period last year. Despite a gross profit of 12.7 billion VND, the company incurred a loss of 75.4 million VND after deducting expenses. In the first half of 2025, Halico achieved a revenue of 64 billion VND and a profit of nearly 700 million VND, a notable recovery from a loss of 2.5 billion VND the previous year. As of the end of Q2 2025, the cumulative loss stood at 465.4 billion VND, with equity at 348 billion VND. Originally established in 1898 as the Hanoi Distillery, Halico was once the largest vodka producer in Vietnam but struggled after a smuggling scandal in 2012, leading to significant operational declines.
